Role:

We seek outgoing, energetic, and dynamic individuals to join our team as Event Representatives for our latest events in Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, North Battleford and Weyburn. The SaskPower Energy Efficiency Discounts Campaign (running from May 13 to July 3) will be promoted in-store at select retailers across the province. The events will take place on various weekends in the campaign period to promote the campaign.

SaskPower’s Energy Efficiency Discounts Campaign, delivered by Summerhill Group, aims to educate customers about energy efficiency. Customers are encouraged to take action by purchasing and installing energy-efficient products, reducing their energy demands and helping them save money on their utility bills.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, an enthusiastic disposition, and will have a genuine interest in the environment and energy conservation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Educate customers on energy efficiency choices and related product knowledge (training will be provided)
  • Facilitate events at store level
  • Set up and wrap up event/area booth
  • Track program participation and collect customer information electronically and submit all reporting to the appropriate lead in a timely fashion
  • Receive event materials
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Attend paid training (Mandatory)

 

Job Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Knowledge of email and Internet applications
  • Written skills; ability to log information accurately
  • Works well independently and is a motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic team player; quick learning is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable talking to and approaching new people and adjusting communication style as needed
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English,
  • Able to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift (typically 6 hours)
  • Access to a computer with internet
  • Friendly and professional manner and appearance
  • CSA footwear is required for all Home Depot locations

 

Working Conditions

  • Move equipment and materials weighing up to 20lbs, during the set and takedown of the event
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift

 

Shift Times

9:30-10am Set-up (30 Min)
10 am-3 pm Event (5 Hours)
3:00-3:15 pm Take-down (15 Min)

Reporting at home after each shift (15 Min) – If two reps work an event together, only one will claim the extra 15 minutes for reporting.

Regions: Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, North Battleford and Weyburn
